It's almost summer!

This is our last week of school...which means I'll be back posting more frequently on this blog! With the end of the school year and moving, I just haven't been able to keep up with this blog.

Here's some pics from this past week at our house.

After one of our trips to the neighborhood pool, Tommy showed Haylee how fun the hose in the back yard can be. She LOOOVED it!

Then she wanted to study it herself.

Yesterday Haylee wore PIG TAILS for the first time!!! You all have NO IDEA how long I've waited for this. However, I do apologize about what she decided to make in her diaper EXACTLY when I snapped this shot. LOL!

My friend Renee had a garage sale yesterday so Harrison came over to play for the day so she could focus on the garage sale and not her almost-2-year-old running around! H & H of course had a great time and played so well together! Haylee is still asking where "sissin" (a.k.a. - Harrison) is today. Here is a picture of them getting ready to eat lunch together...

Aand this next picture CRACKS ME UP! Tommy for several months now will rub Haylee's shoulders and say, "you want a massage?!" She cracks up when he does this b/c it tickles her. Well, while H & H were playing yesterday, I heard Haylee say "sodge, sodge!" and I look up and this is what I see:

I can not believe she did it long enough for me to run and grab my camera!! :)

Haylee's 1st haircut!

That is right...we got the first haircut FINALLY. I realize most kids at 21 months have had several haircuts by now, however some of us don't grow hair that fast!


You can tell by her face that she was not too thrilled with the whole experience. She wasn't so sure why Daddy was taking pictures of the not-so-fun event either.

We're still alive!

We've just been sooooo busy trying to get unpacked and settled in our new house. We love our house and can't wait for summer to enjoy it even more!

I've done a not-so-good job at taking pictures the past two weeks. My mom came in town last weekend and we got so much work done around the house that I didn't even take a SINGLE picture. Crazy, I know. Here are a few pictures I did take over the past two weeks...

I had a birthday and this is what I came home to that day...

Haylee loves to go for rides in her wagon eating "Popsicles"...they're sort of popsicles...they are pedialyte-pops. Poor kid, she thinks it's a treat! ;)

Our weekend

Here is a picture of our new house!! :) :)

We got about 85-90% of our stuff from the "old house" to the "new house" this weekend. However we are NO WHERE NEAR unpacked. That is very clear in the picture below of our kitchen nook/dining room.

Haylee thought it was pretty cool to sit on the box and watch the rain outside. NOTE: it rained ALL weekend...except for Friday -- the day we were actually moving stuff from house to house. Boy are we lucky!

Surely you've all seen on the news what happened during our TERRIBLE storm yesterday. While the Cowboy's practice facility was being knocked down my new house was being pounded with large hail. Lovely, huh? So of course I asked Tommy to go outside and get some hail for us to see up close.

Haylee was shocked that the pieces were so cold.

After she got over the fact that they were cold, she thought it'd be cool to throw them back into the yard.

Below is perhaps my favorite picture I snapped last night....she thinks EVERYTHING w/ a handle is a purse, she loves Baby the Bear, and apparently she's giving someone the finger. HA! :)

PS -- She is in a diaper only b/c she was eating mac and cheese before this which is WAAAY too messy to eat with clothes on.
