Haylee & Delani

Delani is our next door neighbor. She is five and Haylee thinks she is the coolest thing! There is definitely an age gap, however, we all finally got Haylee to take a ride in Delani's jeep...and they had fun!!

We have the GREATEST neighbors! Everyone has kids and we all love to hang out with each other a couple nights a week. Here are some pics from one night when Haylee was having soooo much fun with everyone!

We had a little bday party for all of my Florida family who won't be able to come out for Haylee's BIG ELMO PARTY in two weeks! Can you believe she's almost 2??? Hard to believe...

Deonny's horse

Haylee & I were lucky enough to be in Florida over a weekend when my 12 year old cousin Deonny was racing her horse. She is new at this and just getting into it all. But she is having sooo much fun with it. Here are a few pictures from the event. Haylee loved seeing and petting Deonny's horse!

This summer Haylee has really gotten into baby dolls. And look how many my Mimi had at her house....WOW! Haylee was in heaven!

15th Street Fisheries

15th Street Fisheries is one of my dad's favorite restaurants. When we visited last July we went to eat there one night. We got a cute picture of Haylee and Pappy on the water so we decided to go back this year and duplicate it!

So when I got to these pictures on my memory card, I decided to pull out the pictures from last year and compare them. WOW -- I knew Haylee grew a lot (and grew A LOT of hair! HA!) over the past year.....but wow this really shows it! I actually figured out that these pictures were taken almost EXACTLY one year apart....7-12-08 and 7-15-09. Pretty cool.

The sprinkler

I have HUNDREDS of pictures to go through, edit, and share on my memory cards from my camera. Most of which are from our Florida trip...we just got home today. But I'm starting from the beginning. These are from when my mom was here. I bought this sprinkler for Haylee to play in. All she wanted to do was drink the water...ha!

Airplane ride!

Haylee and I flew to Florida this morning to visit my family. In desperation to entertain her on the 2 1/2 hour plane ride, I turned on the webcam on my laptop...so here ya go!

Zoo part 1

We took Haylee to the Frank Buck Zoo in Gainesville (about 35 minutes north of us). It's a really neat zoo...if you live in the DFW area and have kids you should go! It's smaller than most zoos but Haylee enjoyed it more than the other zoos and aquarium we've been to. We got there when it opened so there were literally like 5 other people there....it was great! And it's cheap!

Anyway, here is the first set of pics from the zoo (I haven't uploaded them all yet).

Happy 4th of July!

We went to a party tonight and then came home to watch "whaks" aka fireworks in our backyard. Haylee thought they were neat enough to add them to our prayer tonight....LOL! Anytime someone is in town visiting or someone comes over, they make it in our prayer each night. I'm willing to bet we were the only people who actually prayed for the fireworks themselves....rather than the people shooting them off tonight.

Haylee's Nana came in town on Monday and is here until Sunday. We've had a great time. Nana and I have been sewing curtains for the living room (pics of that to come soon). Tonight we went to the pool....here are some pictures from that.
