Dominic's bday party

Haylee and I went to Dominic's 2nd birthday party this morning. Dominic's mommy and I went to high school together and then taught together at the dance studio for years.

I didn't take very many pics (which is VERY unusual), but here's what I got...

BUSY weekend!

We had a VERY busy weekend!

My friend Jennifer had her baby last week and I got to go take her newborn portraits on Saturday afternoon....we had a great time and the pics turned out really good! :)

Haylee had jelly on her toast for the first time....she loved it...lovely mess, huh? i just LOVE her green eyes in this pic! :)

Our good friends Ross & Lizzy are getting married and I went to Lizzy's bridal shower on Sunday afternoon....here I am w/ Lizzy.

Haylee didn't like the crust of the toast for some odd reason at this meal....she usually eats it like no big deal!

tonight

Tonight we were playing....and since she was about 5 or 6 months old she's LOOOVED to play with Tommy's hats. Here she is with one of them...


And here she is cheesing it for the camera...showing off her newest tooth (look at the bottom row and to your far right to see the tooth...it isn't quite as "tall" as the others yet).

For Nana & Bebe

This post is for Haylee's Nana & Bebe....they bought her these cute outfits for Christmas and I wanted them to get to see her in them! :)

I have recently invested in a backdrop stand, a backdrop, and some new props....so I wanted to test them out. Well, my subject did NOT want to!

SO.....we went outside...and she was a little happier with that...

Beautiful weather...

The weather was beautiful last Saturday! Like 80 degrees...in January...go figure? Anyway, my friend Renee & I took Haylee & Harrison to the park. I didn't bring my camera with me. But lucky Renee had her's and caught this ADORABLE picture of the two of them...she just emailed it to me....ENJOY! :)

boo boo

Check out Haylee's battle scars from today...hehe. Haylee and Seth, another baby at the baby sitter's house, were playing by the window. Seth pulled the mini blinds down...completely...and well, you see where they landed. Ms. Shari said that she only cried for a second and then wanted down to play. Tough kid I guess....we're medicating it with Neosporin in hopes of no permanent scars!

Christmas with Pappy & Nana!

Pappy & Nana "stopped by" on their way to Phoenix on Friday so they could do Christmas with Haylee.

They also brought gifts from Aunt Steph...here Haylee is playing with a puzzle from Aunt Steph. She LOVES this thing! We played with it for about 20 minutes this morning! :)



By this time, she totally gets what you do with a gift...she loves tearing off paper and handing it to you and saying, "Tack oo" -- aka "Thank you".

She now has her own chair for the living room! Too cute, huh? She's already figured out how to climb up in it...she thinks she's big stuff now. :)
