Tooting Santa

We pulled out our Christmas decorations today and decorated. Haylee had so much fun putting ornaments on the tree...but her favorite decoration was the singing & tooting Santa! See a video below...

Pappy time

Pappy has been in town off and on a lot on business the past 3 or 4 months. And he usually stays with us when he's here. He's been here so much that Haylee calls our guest room "Pappy's room" and the bed in there "Pappy's bed"...haha! It's cute.

This kid LOOOOVES her time with Pappy. The other day they spent about 20 minutes building towers with blocks...Haylee in her undies only. :)

#2 is on the way!

Due date: June 30th! I'm 8 weeks today.

We're very excited...and yes, this one was planned...it's funny the questions that people ask. :)

Picture #1: long blob shape is baby, circle-shaped blob is sack that feeds baby

Picture #2: round looking sack is another angle of baby
Picture #3: baby and heartbeat

If you ask Haylee, "What's in mommy's belly?" She says, "A baby!" She gets it, but she doesn't get it. Some nights she kisses my belly and says, "Silly baby!" When I showed her the "pictures of the baby in mommy's belly"...she looked very confused.

We're still here

It's been a busy couple of weeks. However, football season is officially over for me...so we have Friday nights again.

We planted flowers a couple weeks ago...Haylee enjoyed "helping"...

She has discovered what pockets are lately and think they are pretty cool.

As soon as we get home everyday...she immediately goes to her bike. She LOOOOVES to ride it. So home from dance class, this is what she does. Don't mind the shoes...she loves her red sparkly shoes from her ladybug costume and wants to wear them everywhere, with everything.

Halloween

Yesterday, in honor of Halloween, we had a block party on our street complete with a jump house, hay rides, & hotdogs. It was great...and exhausting.

This has to be the cutiest little ladybug I've ever seen...what do you think???

Early in the day, Buzzy, Debbie, Ross & Lizzy came by so they could see Haylee in her costume before things got crazy...and they brought her a yummy treat! She asked where "Buzzydebbie and Lizzyross" went all night...ha! She lumps their names together like they are one person. Cracks me up.

And the fun hay ride....Haylee went on about 5 or 6 of these before the night was over.

And now....H & H.....a.k.a. THE LADYBUG & THE KANGAROO!!! Aren't they just the cutest ever??????

This is how they walked house to house trick or treating most of the night....holding hands....it was soooo cute!

After they trick or treated, we went in the house to lay out all the goodies and look at it all. My mom always did this with us and took pictures....so I made sure we didn't let this tradition die! :)

Haylee had more fun than I ever thought she'd have. It was really neat. She spent probably 3 hours or so in the jump house and somehow I didn't end up with a picture of her in it! Oh well. She asked if she could go outside and jump this morning...and she asked to go trick or treating with Harrison again. HA! I guess she enjoyed herself. Last night made me really excited about Christmas b/c she's going to get that even more this year...should be fun!
We ended up with about half the neighborhood on our street....literally. It was fun and crazy all at once. However, we were all still cleaning up today from the fun night....lots of candy wrappers in the street...go figure.
Hope your night was as fun as ours!

Last weekend

I'm posting about last weekend before I post on Halloween (to keep in order).

Last weekend Haylee got her first pet.......

Meet Pedro, the fish.

OK, so now I realize that Pedro didn't even really make it in any of these pictures, so I'll have to be sure and get some pictures of him to share...I'll work on that.
Haylee has been obsessed with "blankies" lately. And in her world, anything can serve as a blanket...for example: Daddy's sweatshirt.

Pappy & Nana came into town for a quick visit. I don't have any pictures of Pappy, but he was here I promise. Here are some of H & Nana playing out front.
