Easter Sunday

Here's Haylee admiring her Elmo Easter basket & goodies....forgive me on the poor quality pictures...apparently I had manual focus on and didn't realize! :)

And here's a picture of us after church. I love that Haylee is getting old enough to ACTUALLY cooperate for a timer picture! This only took about 2 minutes to do! At Christmas it took us about 30 minutes! LOL!

Church Easter Egg Hunt

Our church had an Easter Egg hunt for all the kids Saturday morning. Haylee had lots of fun (despite the look on her face in all of the pictures!)

Here she is listening to instructions about the Egg Hunt...

And here she is making her "bunny puppet" at the arts & crafts table...

And playing pin the egg on the bunny....

And admiring her eggs she found!

The morning was concluded with a "Wheels Zone" -- basically the parking lot blocked off so they could ride their bikes, skooters, skates, etc., the reading of the Easter Story, and CANDY & CUPCAKES! (H's favorite part).
More Easter pics to come....

H's scooter

Haylee got this scooter for Christmas and LOVES it! She gets how to do it, but she can be quite the whimp and gets scared a little so she doesn't really go for it yet. But she's getting better each day. Here are some pictures from last weekend outside...we're LOVING this spring weather!

And here's a new belly picture for the family far away...this was a week and a half ago (I was 26 weeks on the dot). Definitely growing! :)

Chuck-E-Cheese

Haylee got to go to Chuck-E-Cheese over spring break for the first time for a friend's b.day party! She had lots of fun!

Here she is playing one of those hitting games...whatever they are called.

And riding rides...

And hugging germ-filled rides...

And of course standing back while watching the other children dance around. (because she doesn't like big crowds like her dad)

And enjoying birthday cupcakes, her favorite! :)

Tommy's b.day

Last weekend was Tommy's birthday....so Haylee and I went shopping and got him a few goodies to open...here's H wrapping his gifts...and helping him open them! :)

Spring break is coming to an end. :(

We did a lot over spring break...but it's almost over. :( H & I went to Alabama (see previous post), H wore her cute St. Patty's Day bows & headband and told everyone she saw, "Happy St. Patty's Day!" on Wednesday. She also insisted on wearing her Halloween shirt and PJ pants with them. Crazy kid. My mom and Lizzy came over and helped me paint the nursery! The nursery isn't complete yet, but it at least looks like a baby's room now...pictures below. And the last picture is of Haylee playing dress up while watching Cinderella. She is so girly. Oh yeah, and we bought a mini van this week. So I'm officially a soccer mom! Today is Tommy's Bday...and we have a bday party for the neighbor at ChuckECheese (H's first time to go there, should be fun!). So more pics to come of those events...

AND....today is the first day of spring but there is SNOW in the forecast....INSANE.

Visiting "Baby Grace"

Haylee and I went to Alabama over the weekend to visit my friend Kristin, her husband, Daniel and their new baby, Grace. Kristin and I have been friends forever. Seriously, I can't remember not knowing her....I always say we've been friends since we were in diapers. Pretty neat that we're still close!!

Anyway...we had a GREAT time on our visit and look forward to them coming to visit us after our newest baby is born and Grace is older! Here are a few pictures from our visit!

When Haylee saw Grace's headband, she insisted that she wear one too! HAHA
Here she is at the mall going for a ride....and OH MY -- she looks soooooo much like me at this age in this picture. I know my mom could pull out a picture with that same smile from 25 or so years ago. WOW.

We thought it was hilarious that she joined Roxie under the table and then she gladly cheesed for a picture! :)

Here are two cute pictures of H & G in their matching dresses my mom bought them!!! :)
