Our school PTA had a Kindergarten Karnival at the beginning of October for kindergarteners and their families. It still sounds weird to say we have a kindergartener! Anyway, it was small and cute....the girls had fun, especially Rylee. Haylee has never been one for large crowds!

Chalkboard paint PUMPKINS!
We kicked off "pumpkin season" at our house by painting pumpkins with chalkboard paint. Then the girls colored on them with chalk. They had fun...
Sock bubbles!
A few weeks ago we made "sock bubbles" with the girls. This was a very easy & fun activity (thank you pinterest!)
Bath time
The girls love to take baths together (most of the time) and they love bubble baths in Mommy's tub. Enough said I think.

The big girl
Tommy and I have noticed that Haylee has grown up a lot after just 6 weeks of kindergarten. It's kind of bitter-sweet for us!
Here are some pictures of her from the past month or so...
Tommy and Haylee had a special afternoon of baking together with her little baking kit she got for her birthday last year.
She was very proud of the product! :)
Haylee has done well to adjusting to homework everyday and for the most part enjoys it and does a great job.
Haylee and I get to spend a lot of special time together riding to and from school...one day we had an ice cream date at Chick-fil-A between school and dance class. :)
This is how Haylee spends most of her days in the car on the way home: PASSED OUT! HAHA! :)
When you are your child's PE teacher at school you have a HUGE advantage...for example, you get to take pictures of your own kid during PE class. (hehe!) We had some martial arts instructors come guest teach our students one week some Jui Jitsu so I was in charge of taking pictures "for the school newsletter"...here are some of Haylee.
A few weeks ago was "Bring Your Dad to School Day"...so Tommy was able to take the day off and bring Haylee McDonald's for lunch. It was such a special treat!
Diaper FREE!
The biggest news of fall 2012 is that our house is a DIAPER FREE house! Rylee is potty trained...woo hoo! And she is very proud of herself too.
Here is a picture of Haylee reading to her to help her relax and go potty. (this will be fun to show her when she's 16!)
And here's the big girl sporting her big girl panties! :) She is quit the character...
Labor Day
On Labor Day we drove down to Waco to spend the day with some family & friends. We had a great time at a park hiking, playing at a little water fountain park and eating food. Here are some pictures from the day...
This was an attempt to get a picture of the three little cousins (ages 5, 2 and 6 months!)....HA!
