The blob looks human!

LOOK! A head and a body!

Below you can see the head on the right and arms and legs sticking up to the left.

And the heart beat again.

I'm twelve weeks officially on Wednesday...it's just flying by! :)

busted lip

Tommy and Haylee were playing tonight like they do often. Haylee ran into the kitchen with socks on and well, fell and here's what happened. We had blood and tears, but in the end it was fine. She just looks like she had some bad botox done now...haha!

Haylee's First Christmas Recital

This morning was Haylee's first ever dance recital. I'd say she did a great job, but I'd be lying. She just stood there..go figure. But she looked cute while doing it. This child is just NOT a fan of large crowds (like her father). We had her hair in a bun, tutu on, and got her all pumped up about it. She was excited....but I guess her nerves got the best of her. We video taped it...however, the still shots I took are just as good as the video b/c she literally DIDN'T move! :)

Here she is sitting in the lobby waiting to go into the holding room...

She looks so much like me right here, it's SCARY!

She might be freaking out inside right here...HAHA!

Here she is with her teacher after the show.

Maybe we'll have better luck in June with the big stage and the large crowd sitting farther away! :)

The train

A couple years ago Tommy's dad gave us a train to go around our Christmas tree. We didn't set it up last year b/c Haylee was at that age where you shouldn't have nice things within her reach (if you wanted to keep them nice that is). But this year we did....and she LOVES to "drive the train". Tommy taught her how to turn it on and make it go fast. Here are some cute snap shots of the two of them "driving the train".

I love the grin in this next picture....it is priceless!

The North Pole Express

In Grapevine they have a ton of fun stuff at Christmas...one thing is the North Pole Express. They take their vintage train and turn it Christmas style. Haylee was rather reserved through the whole experience, as she usually is in large crowds. But then she talked about it for the rest of the day...so she obviously had fun. Pappy & Nana were in town too...so they got to go with us!

Here we are waiting in line...she's checking out Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer (which she kept calling a kangaroo....ha!). She wasn't quite sure of the characters walking around. She liked for them to keep their distance.

Here's a close up...she's not so sure...haha!
And Frosty...

Here she is watching the little show before the train.

On our way to the train...if you look close you can see the fake snow flakes falling in Haylee's hair.

On the train singing songs and waving our hands in the air.

Looking out the train window.

Santa was on the train!!! Again, a little scared :)

Pappy wearing Haylee's antlers.

Turkey Day

Haylee & I enjoyed the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. She LOOOVED it! She especially loved the scene from Shrek the musical. I bet we have rewatched it at least 10 times now.

Haylee & Nana chilling out on the couch.

Here's Haylee enjoying some four layer dessert on Thanksgiving...YUM!

Friends

This is one of Haylee's friends at Miss Shari's house, Abby. Aren't they cute??
