The girls really did great on both the ride down there and the ride back. Tommy & I recognized that this would be our hardest traveling Christmas...meaning that it will only get easier from here on out (because duh, we do NOT plan to have anymore children). Next year we shouldn't have all the "baby gear" and shouldn't have to pack half of our house into a mini van for a 2 day trip. But at least they were great travelers. On the way down I fed Rylee in her car seat and made Tommy, Haylee & I peanut butter & jelly sandwiches so we didn't even have to stop. It was great.
Anyway....we had a great time down there. Haylee was soooo excited about seeing Bebe's horses. She got to feed them with Bebe one morning AND sit on one of them two times. She thought she was big stuff! :) Here's a picture of her and Bebe off to feed the horses.

The girls also enjoyed some cuddle time with Pawpaw in his big comfy chair...can you tell he loves these girls?? :)

And of course there were lots of presents to be opened. As Pawpaw pointed out, Haylee double-dipped in the presents this year. After she opened all of her presents, she then got to open all of Rylee's. When she opened a few books from Aunt Cherry she looked at me and said, "These are Rylee's...but she can share with me." Next thing I knew she was in that big comfy chair "reading"! This kid is hilarious!! :)

And quite possibly the favorite gift yet (or at least one of them!) is the Barbie convertable that Aunt Lauren & Uncle John got her. Here she is hugging Aunt Lauren and telling her thank you for the car! :)

We got several CUTE outfits! (both girls did) And this is great b/c they both REALLY need winter clothes!
