Delani's birthday party

Delani is one of our neighbor friends on the street. This was her 7th birthday party last weekend. Haylee (& Rylee) were the youngest guests...but the big kids did a great job of including Haylee in the fun. Here she is waiting in line for "pin the tail on the puppy"...(it was a puppy themed party)...this picture cracks me up. She looks so grown up!

She thought being blind-folded was a pretty neat thing.

They also played "pass the paw"....it was an inflatable paw and just like the game hot potato. Haylee was the first one out and at first was dissapointed....but being the competitive, game-playing family that we are, I told her to suck it up...she lost. HAHA She was fine...she's used to it. I hate how many kids these days don't understand that there is a winner and lots of losers to EVERY GAME. But I won't completely get on that soapbox right now...

Rylee enjoyed her lunch in her stroller...poor girl was getting over a virus and in the process of getting ANOTHER ear infection that we found out about Sunday night (with lots of screaming). She, by the way, has an appoitment in 2 weeks with an ENT to get tubes put in her ears b/c she's had about 8 or 9 ear infections since October!

There was also a pinata at the party. This was Haylee's first time to enjoy a pinata at a party....she was definitley a fan of it!
