Easter weekend

Easter weekend began with Tommy going to work for TAKS tutoring Saturday morning and the girls and I venturing out to the neighborhood HOA Easter on the Green. The girls had fun. Haylee hunted for eggs and Rylee watched.

Do you see Rylee grabbing at her ear?? That's because the poor baby has had 6 ear infections in 7 months and is having tubes put in this Friday morning. We are looking forward to no more ear infections to say the least.

Haylee is such a good big sister...she made sure Rylee got some eggs in her basket too!

And she gives her little sister TONS of kisses everyday.

The Easter on the Green was really nice. There was a jump house, a parade, the egg hunt, hot dogs, and the Easter Bunny (Rylee was curious....and Haylee wanted no part...ha!).

Easter morning at our house started with Easter Egg baskets. Rylee got a Veggie Tales Easter video and Haylee got Tangled on DVD. Haylee was very excited about both gifts! :)

Everyday we are still cleaning up eggs all over our living room floor at bedtime.

Then we hunted eggs inside (b/c of course it was raining! UGH). We hunted eggs several times...Haylee is at the perfect age for hunting eggs....it's so cute.

After nap, we headed to Pappy & Nana's house for dinner and more egg hunting.

Thankfully the rain was done for the day and we were able to sit outside and take turns hiding eggs with Haylee. Rylee, of course, was perfectly content in her Pappy's lap...and then her Nana's lap.
