Memoral Day 2011

We had a great three day weekend...well, minus me being sick. But overall it felt long, we got a lot done and relaxed! We got a small taste of summer and we are ready! Only four more work days left and then it's on! :)

We went to our neighborhood pool today and the girls had a blast!

I can't seem to get over how SKINNY Haylee looks in these next two pictures...crazy!

Then there's the chubby one.....I just love her rolls! I don't worry about her being fat because look at her sister (and she was just as chubby as a baby!).

Ever since Rylee was born, I have only seen Tommy in her. However, in this picture I really see my Great Grandma Strom....that would be Great Great Grandma Strom to Haylee & Rylee. How cool is that? Any other family members on my side see it???

After the pool, Tommy grilled and the girls played out back. A few of our neighbors joined us as well.

Haylee is very excited about the fact that in a few shorts weeks we will be at DISNEY WORLD! (that's why she's wearing her Minnie Mouse ears-princess hat)

Haylee decided to do some cheesing for the camera...she really enjoyed her pizza, can you tell?

Rylee, of course, enjoyed her food too. :)

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!! :)

Almost one.

Just look at this cute face. She looks just like her Daddy, doesn't she? She is sooo happy all the time and can eat circles around her big sister. She will be one in a month....that's so crazy, but so exciting! Bring on the toddler years....we are almost done with babies in our house...YIPEE! :)

Haylee's Dance Recital

Is she not the cutest thing? Of course I think so...I'm her mother.

She had fun. She danced...a little. HAHA If only I had video of it to put on here so you could all laugh like the entire auditorium full of people did today. :) She was cute, to say the least.

Bring on summer!

Our neighborhood pool opened last Saturday. So I decided that the girls and I needed to go. It was COLD....but we did it! (we only went in the baby pool....I can't imagine how cold the big pool was) And don't they look cute?? :)

This picture is so little because I took it with my phone....and I don't have a smart phone. Yet.

Easter weekend

Easter weekend began with Tommy going to work for TAKS tutoring Saturday morning and the girls and I venturing out to the neighborhood HOA Easter on the Green. The girls had fun. Haylee hunted for eggs and Rylee watched.

Do you see Rylee grabbing at her ear?? That's because the poor baby has had 6 ear infections in 7 months and is having tubes put in this Friday morning. We are looking forward to no more ear infections to say the least.

Haylee is such a good big sister...she made sure Rylee got some eggs in her basket too!

And she gives her little sister TONS of kisses everyday.

The Easter on the Green was really nice. There was a jump house, a parade, the egg hunt, hot dogs, and the Easter Bunny (Rylee was curious....and Haylee wanted no part...ha!).

Easter morning at our house started with Easter Egg baskets. Rylee got a Veggie Tales Easter video and Haylee got Tangled on DVD. Haylee was very excited about both gifts! :)

Everyday we are still cleaning up eggs all over our living room floor at bedtime.

Then we hunted eggs inside (b/c of course it was raining! UGH). We hunted eggs several times...Haylee is at the perfect age for hunting eggs....it's so cute.

After nap, we headed to Pappy & Nana's house for dinner and more egg hunting.

Thankfully the rain was done for the day and we were able to sit outside and take turns hiding eggs with Haylee. Rylee, of course, was perfectly content in her Pappy's lap...and then her Nana's lap.

HAPPY EASTER!

Nina & Papa Ron's visit

My Nina & Papa came to visit for a week. Haylee and Rylee got to spend more time with them than we did...but we got at least one good visit in. This is one set of Haylee & Rylee's GREAT GRANDPARENTS....unbelievable, isn't it? (they also have a GREAT GREAT grandma still with us!)

Here are some pictures from their visit...
